AiF (Arbeitsgemeinschaft industrieller Forschungvereinigungen “Otto von Guericke” e.V. - German Federation of Industrial Research Associations “Otto von Guericke”)

The German federal government launched a project named ProInno to provide assistance for the cooperation of small and medium size enterprises in the field of innovation, in the framework of which applicants received significant non-refundable subsidies and were also granted the information background they needed.

AiF has build up a network of 15 intermediary offices in the Central and East European region. AiF’s Hungarian representation, or “Contact Office Budapest” was operated by the Institute of International Technology of the Theodore Puskas Foundation from 1997 until the end of 2008.

The Office’s scope of activity included the propagation of the German assistance programmes, related information activity, partner mediation in Hungary and in Germany, organization of meetings and events, offering administrative know-how and follow-up of ongoing cooperation projects.
